Annual report design and illustration The theme of this annual report is Resilience. One more year of confined living and uncertainty due to the pandemic has passed. The inspiration for the overall look and illustrations that run through the report, is the Kenyan fabrics that one encounters all over the country, worn by people in their every day life. The boldness of these fabrics’ colours and patterns in combination with photography (Freepik) also inspired by the theme of Resilience, creates a vivid result that is meant to be inspiring and uplifting.

Data Handbook for UNDP SIDS. This Data handbook assembles data and statistics to facilitate policymakers for the Small Island Developing States. Since data visualisation is another form of storytelling using data, the cover visual on the left, is made of details from different kinds of graphs, in such a way as to evoke a landscape, a place. On the cover visual on the right, again the use of circles from a bubble chart, evokes graphs and data on one hand but also floating islands in the sea, pointing again to the definition of data visualisation as another form of storytelling.

Design proposal for the University of the Arts London merchandise (tote bag) and library card.
